About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Manager to join our team at Peel Ports Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our company by developing and implementing effective training programs that drive employee performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs that meet the evolving needs of our business
  • Lead a team of trainers and instructors to ensure the successful delivery of training initiatives
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop strategies to address them
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers and vendors
  • Manage training budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of company funds
Requirements
  • Proven experience in training and development, preferably in a similar industry or sector
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision making
  • Hold a training/instructor qualification such as RTITB/NPORS or learning qualifications such as CIPD
  • Full UK driving license as travel is expected within the role
