Training and Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Manager to join our team at Peel Ports Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our company by developing and implementing effective training programs that drive employee performance and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs that meet the evolving needs of our business
- Lead a team of trainers and instructors to ensure the successful delivery of training initiatives
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop strategies to address them
- Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers and vendors
- Manage training budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of company funds
- Proven experience in training and development, preferably in a similar industry or sector
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform decision making
- Hold a training/instructor qualification such as RTITB/NPORS or learning qualifications such as CIPD
- Full UK driving license as travel is expected within the role
