Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Deliver Training Programs: Develop and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our employees, including e-learning and in-person sessions.
  • Lead Leadership Development Initiatives: Lead leadership development initiatives that cover essential topics such as difficult conversations and time management.
  • Collaborate on Succession Planning Projects: Collaborate with our HR team on succession planning projects to upskill staff and support business continuity.
  • Manage the E-Learning Portal: Oversee the e-learning portal to ensure compliance and maximize its effectiveness.
  • Engage in Additional Projects: Engage in additional projects such as work experience and gap year programs as the role develops.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Training or Learning and Development: Experience in a training or learning and development role, preferably within a challenging industry.
  • Strong Organizational and Communication Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver engaging training content.
  • Ability to Travel: Ability to travel across the Northwest for site-specific training while being based primarily at our Head Office.
  • Ability to Handle Sensitive Topics: Ability to handle sensitive topics and manage resistance to change effectively.
