Job Title: Supervisor - Rail

John Sisk and Son is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our Rail Civils team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of operatives and subcontractors to deliver high-quality reactive works on the NW&C Framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with customers, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of operatives and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects.
  • Develop and implement effective safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategies.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in a construction management environment, with a strong focus on HSEQS.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction practices, codes, and regulations.
