Internal Business Development Manager Opportunity

We are pleased to be working with an award-winning lender, on their search for an Internal Business Development Manager, to join their growing team in Manchester.

This is a fully office-based role that requires strong administration and interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, and plenty of drive. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in financial services, with a focus on bridging finance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound enquiries and assess them against lending appetite
  • Produce and follow up on Approval In Principle quotes sent out
  • Progress deals through the credit process
  • Liaise with valuers, solicitors, and the credit team
  • Be the primary contact for brokers when BDMs are out of office
  • Source and engage with new brokers
  • Keep data up-to-date on the internal systems

Requirements:

  • A degree is preferable but not essential
  • Minimum 2 years' working in financial services
  • Financial services sales experience
  • Bridging finance experience is preferable
