Position Overview
We are in search of a Transport Compliance Advisor to become a vital member of our Transport Compliance Team at Culina Group. This position offers flexibility as it can be based from various locations within our network.
The role necessitates travel; therefore, candidates must possess a valid UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
As a Transport Compliance Advisor, you will collaborate with the General Managers, Transport Managers, and operational teams to ensure adherence to all statutory obligations outlined in our Operators licence, thereby safeguarding the reputation of both Culina Group and our partners.
This is a full-time, permanent role operating Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 5.00pm, offering a competitive salary and the chance to work with a leading company in the logistics sector.
Key Responsibilities of the Transport Compliance Advisor include:
- Conduct comprehensive legal compliance audits across all operations.
- Assist operational teams in addressing any negative trends identified during audits.
- Provide legal compliance dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs to support operational teams.
- Participate in monthly meetings to present insights on compliance performance across various locations.
- Aid in the development of transport teams regarding Transport Legislation and compliance management systems.
- Coordinate with maintenance providers to ensure adherence to maintenance schedules.
- Support the National Transport Compliance Manager with inquiries and desktop exercises.
- Review compliance KPIs regularly, assisting teams in mitigating negative trends.
- Collaborate with leadership on Transport Compliance related projects.
- Ensure compliance with transport legal policies and processes in alignment with ISO9001 standards.
- Foster effective governance and review processes throughout the organization.
- Work with the legal team to validate formal communications with authorities.
- Collaborate with the training team to develop tailored compliance training programs.
- Partner with Operations Directors and General Managers to share best practices.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for the role of Transport Compliance Advisor, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

- National and international CPC certification.
- Comprehensive understanding of Transport Law.
- Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Membership in a recognized professional transport body, such as CILT or SOE.
