Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transport Compliance Business Partner to join our team at Culina Group. This role will involve supporting the General Managers, Transport managers, and transport teams to ensure compliance with statutory obligations and maintain good repute.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct structured legal compliance audits across all Culina Group operations.
  • Support the operational teams to address negative trends identified within the audits.
  • Provide legal compliance dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs to the operational teams.
  • Attend monthly meetings to provide commentary on Compliance performance across the depots.
  • Support the development of the Culina Group transport teams in relation to Transport Legislation and Compliance systems.
  • Liaise with the maintenance provider to ensure obligations in relation to maintenance schedules are complete and visible.
  • Support the National Transport Compliance Manager with DVLA enquiries and desktop exercises.
  • Review all Compliance KPIs on a daily/weekly basis and support operational teams with addressing negative trends.
  • Support the Culina Group Head of Ops, GMs with Transport Compliance related projects.
  • Ensure compliance to the Culina Group transport legal compliance policies and processes in line with our ISO9001 accreditation.
  • Support an effective transport governance and review processes at all levels of our business.
  • Interface with the legal team to validate any formal correspondence to the authorities.
  • Interface with the central training team to develop tailored compliance training.
  • Collaborate with the Operations directors and General Managers to share best practice.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Transport Law.
  • IT Literate including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Member of a professional chartered Transport body, EG CILT, SOE.
