We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our Direct SME team at LeasePlan UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, converting, managing, and developing new business opportunities within our organization.
This role requires a proven track record in business-to-business sales, with a strong focus on telesales and customer relationship building. Ideally, you will have experience in the car industry or contract hire sector, but this is not a requirement.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, negotiator, and presenter, with the ability to empathize with customers and build long-term relationships. You will be responsible for communicating with senior-level customers, negotiating deals, and presenting LeasePlan's services in a clear and concise manner.
This is a full-time role based in our Slough office, with a competitive salary of up to £30,000 based on experience, plus £10,000 OTCE and a range of flexible benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and convert new customers into LeasePlan
- Focus on high-level outbound calling to maximize contact ratio
- Contribute to the new business process, suggesting innovative ideas to maximize customer sign-up
- Ensure customers understand LeasePlan's services and account management
- Meet individual and departmental sales targets
- Contribute to the overall success of the LeasePlan team through personal performance and team spirit
- Work closely with Service Delivery teams to deliver total customer service
- Complete accurate and timely customer and management reports
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as required
- Identify and evaluate risks within the department, taking appropriate measures to manage them
- Fluent business English language skills - written and verbal
- Good PC and technical skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Inspirational leadership skills, with the ability to act as a role model for LeasePlan sales people
- Positive attitude and active listening skills
- Customer-driven approach, with the ability to build long-term relationships and provide creative solutions
- High commercial and financial awareness, with the ability to recognize opportunities for profitable business
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to plan and manage own workload
- Ability to take ownership of issues and delegate non-sales tasks
