Job Title: Data and HR Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing dynamic company, MP Jobs Ltd t/a MP Recruitment Group, which would suit an aspiring individual with a passion for working within Human Resources. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all employee records, track sickness, holiday & absence, and pre-employment checks using online systems.
  • Manage investigations and complex employee relations issues that may arise.
  • Support the Directors in the management of the disciplinary process, ensuring best practice is followed by Managers.
  • Report monthly to the Finance Director on any salary variations.
  • Monitor probation/induction timelines and work closely with department Managers.
  • Monitor staff sickness in line with Bradford factor policy.
  • Work closely with Management to identify and plan staff deployment and strategically plan for future gaps in recruitment.
  • Provide HR guidance and support to Management where necessary.
  • Work closely with Management to nurture workforce and staff engagement.
  • Plan and implement team building and staff engagement days with the Directors.
  • Set and review pay structures, employee perks, and benefits.
  • Ensure policies relating to HR are kept up to date.
  • Provide confidential support and guidance in any HR-related matters to all employees.
  • Line manage the HR & Health & Safety Coordinator.
  • Launch a new HR software package with the assistance of our HR consultancy and provide tools and frameworks to support both employees and managers.
  • Oversee all recruitment processes, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of all candidates, managing the employee lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Microsoft and Excel intermediate to advanced skills.
  • 3 years of HR experience.
  • CIPD qualification desirable with a comprehensive understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail/accuracy/confidentiality.
  • Positive, empathetic, and approachable manner.
  • Collaborative and pragmatic approach to work.
