About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team at Yü Group. As a key member of our litigation and dispute resolution solution, you will play a crucial role in handling a caseload of pre-action and litigated matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and undertake all pre-action steps for matters assigned to you.
  • Issue Court Action and take all necessary steps up to and including enforcement.
  • Prepare and draft Court documentation, including Statements of Case, Witness Statements, Disclosure Statements, and Bundles.
  • Provide guidance and training to paralegals and legal administrators on litigation and dispute resolution matters.
  • Conduct research and analysis of case law to support legal arguments and provide expert advice to clients.
  • Negotiate settlements and engage in dispute resolution on behalf of clients.
  • Experience with case management systems and ability to work under limited supervision.
Requirements
  • Technically strong litigation experience, preferably with CILEx qualification or studying.
  • Confident advocate with strong communication skills in Court and knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Subject matter expert in litigating energy debt, ideally with experience in this area.
  • Ambitious and keen to take the next step in leading a legal solution for a rapidly growing business-to-business utility company.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude and love to learn.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on hitting and exceeding targets.
  • Friendly and polite with a respect for colleagues and clients.
