Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our team at Yü Group. As a key member of our litigation and dispute resolution solution, you will be responsible for handling a caseload of pre-action and litigated matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review matters and undertake all pre-action steps, including the issuance of Court Action and taking all necessary steps up to and including enforcement.
  • Prepare and draft Court documentation, including Statements of Case, Witness Statements, Disclosure Statements, and Bundles.
  • Provide guidance and training to paralegals and legal administrators.
  • Gather evidence and data required to bring valid claims in large volumes.
  • Conduct research and analysis of case law to support legal arguments.
  • Negotiate settlements and engage in dispute resolution on behalf of clients.
  • Experience with case management systems.

Requirements
  • Technically strong litigation experience, preferably with CILEx qualification or studying.
  • Confident advocate with strong communication skills in Court and knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Subject matter expert, ideally with experience of litigating energy debt.
  • Ambitious and keen to take the next step in leading a legal solution.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude and love to learn.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on hitting and exceeding targets.
