About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Executive to join our team at Yü Group. As a key member of our litigation and dispute resolution solution, you will play a crucial role in handling a caseload of pre-action and litigated matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and undertake all pre-action steps for assigned cases.
  • Issue Court Action and take all necessary steps up to and including enforcement.
  • Prepare and draft Court documentation, including Statements of Case, Witness Statements, Disclosure Statements, and Bundles.
  • Work on small claims, Fast/intermediate, and Multi-track claims.
  • Provide guidance and training to paralegals and legal administrators.
  • Gather necessary evidence and data to bring valid claims in large volumes.
  • Have a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Conduct research and analysis of case law to support legal arguments.
  • Conduct confident advocacy and negotiate settlements and engage in dispute resolution on behalf of clients.
  • Experience with a case management system.
  • Deliver commercial litigation and support a win/win culture within the organization.
  • Provide front-line legal advice and support in connection with the development and maintenance of our growing customer base.
Requirements
  • Technically strong litigation experience, preferably CILEx-qualified or studying.
  • Confident advocate with strong communication skills in Court and a deep understanding of the CPR.
  • Subject matter expert, ideally with experience in litigating energy debt.
  • Ambitious and keen to take the next step in leading a legal solution for a rapidly growing business-to-business utility company.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude and a love for learning.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong desire to hit and exceed targets.
  • Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills.
