About the RoleIn your capacity as a Cost Management Specialist, you will oversee all financial aspects of our residential construction initiatives. Your responsibilities will span the complete project lifecycle, from initial budgeting to final financial assessments, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints while adhering to the highest quality standards.

Working Hours- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM with flexibility to start earlier.
- Develop cost estimates and budgets for new residential projects.
- Conduct feasibility assessments, cost control, and financial management.
- Prepare tender and contract documentation.
- Perform cost analysis for maintenance and repair projects.
- Implement risk valuation management and cost control strategies.
- Advise on procurement strategies.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate commercial risks.
- Provide guidance on contractual claims.
- Assess completed work and manage payments, including negotiations with subcontractors.
- Maintain knowledge of the construction contract legal framework.
- Build and maintain a strong network of subcontractor contacts.
- Proven experience as a Cost Management Specialist in the housing development sector.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and materials.
- Familiarity with construction management software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role within a housebuilder or residential context, with relevant qualifications (HND/Degree).
