About the Role
Stanmore Quality Surfacing Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Reinstatement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and resourcing contracts to maximize profit and minimize costs.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, project team members, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage contract variations and valuations, ensuring timely and accurate submissions and settlements.
- Oversee health, safety, quality, and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Lead and manage teams of operatives, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Recommend staff training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Handle customer care issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Monitor and control overtime, petty cash, and wages payments to optimize resource allocation.
- Conduct pre, current, and post-contract management activities to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Monitor overall project/contract performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with legislation and specifications, maintaining a strong reputation for quality and integrity.
- Contribute to the effective management of operatives and contractors, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Proactively manage and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are achieved and maintained.
- Assist in the preparation of information required for internal reporting, providing accurate and timely data.
- Ensure plant allocation is optimized, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Verify that operatives adhere to the Working Time Directive, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Manage and ensure drivers' hours are not exceeded, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
- Ensure all information submissions, including job cards and Ontrack reports, are of high standard and accuracy.
