We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Trainee Animal Technician. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the welfare and well-being of our animals.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the monitoring and maintenance of animal welfare, ensuring their health and well-being are prioritized at all times.
  • Clean and maintain animal enclosures and equipment, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
  • Feed and care for animals, providing a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Assist with weaning procedures and other animal care tasks as required.
  • Pack and prepare animal orders for customers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our Quality Management System, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties as reasonably required by the team.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to animal welfare and a passion for animal care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Be patient and courteous, with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on maintaining high standards of animal care and welfare.
