Job Overview

The Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust is seeking a skilled and compassionate Adult Care Specialist to join our team at The Grove, a Rehabilitation Unit in Ramsgate. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health and psychological needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver effective and competent care under the guidance and supervision of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) and as determined by the patient's care plan.
  • Be fully aware of the needs of patients over a 24-hour span of care.
  • Monitor, report, and maintain a healthy, safe, and secure workplace by knowing and taking account of relevant health and safety regulations.

Person Specification
  • Completed Care certificate
  • Health or Social Care Qualification (level 3 or equivalent)

  • Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team, under the direction and supervision of a registered practitioner.
  • Experience in communicating effectively to a wide range of people.
  • Experience in recording interventions in a timely manner.
