About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Connections Officer to join our team at the MS Society. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in managing our Community Connections project, which aims to support people living with and affected by MS to navigate support services and access the resources they need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Community Connections project, including developing and implementing project plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including people affected by MS, external partners, and MS Society teams.
  • Deliver project objectives, including providing support and resources to people living with and affected by MS.
  • Forge strong partnerships with key stakeholders and represent the MS Society at key meetings and events.
  • Travel extensively throughout the project area, including South West England, Wales, and other regions as required.
Requirements
  • Experience in project management, community engagement, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering project objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
