Community Connections Project Officer

CHM is seeking an experienced Community Connections Project Officer to manage their new project, focused on supporting people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in South West England.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans to ensure effective delivery of community connections services
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including MS community members, healthcare professionals, and local organizations
  • Coordinate project activities, including events, training sessions, and outreach programs
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Collaborate with the MS community to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that project services are tailored to meet their requirements
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in project management, community development, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout South West England, with occasional travel to Wales
  • Desirable: fluency in Welsh
