Children's Epilepsy Surgery Service Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Coordinator to provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Paediatric Neurology Department at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the department, including coordinating appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining accurate databases.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals, both verbally and in writing.
- Manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operation of the department.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Utilize Microsoft Office 365 packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements
- GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths.
- Qualification in word processing or audio transcription (or equivalent).
- NVQ at level 3 in Business and Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
