About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Coordinator to join our team at the Children's Epilepsy Surgery Service. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Paediatric Neurology Department, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Paediatric Neurology Department, including filing, reception, and telephone duties.
- Manage and prioritize workload effectively, ensuring deadlines are met and a high standard of accuracy is maintained.
- Work effectively in a busy team, adjusting to change and motivating others to achieve shared goals.
- Provide supervision and support to others, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Handle difficult conversations with patients, relatives, and carers in a confident and effective manner.
Requirements
- GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths.
- Business and Administration Level 3 NVQ or equivalent experience.
- Clerical/administrative experience, including filing and/or reception.
- Experience of dealing with the public, both on the telephone and in person.
