About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse to lead our Children's Epilepsy Service as a Band 7 Nurse Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and strengthen our Epilepsy team, providing a holistic package of support to children and families with Epilepsy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead an established Band 6 team of clinical nurse specialists
  • Work closely with our Children's Epilepsy Surgery Service to provide a seamless service to children and families
  • Develop, strengthen, and lead our Epilepsy team to provide a robust service to children and families both in hospital and in the local community
  • Provide specialist nursing advice and support to patients and families, in-patient and out-patient, throughout their care pathway
  • Utilize skills of clinical expertise, leadership, education, and management to ensure a seamless service for patients, carers, and staff
