Strategic Communications Manager

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual with good communication skills to join our team as our new Communications Manager. This is an exciting time for New Wine Trust as we look to significantly develop our work by mobilising a network of both formal Representatives of the organisation and everyday people who share our calling.
We have recently done a review of our communications and as a result of this had a rebrand and designed a brand-new website. We are looking for someone to come and build upon the work we have started. Getting the right person for this role is really important to us.
We offer a competitive salary of £31-35,000 per annum, an 8% employer's pension contribution, 33 days paid holiday rising to 38 after five years of employment (including UK Bank holidays), and a great team to work with.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to engage with our stakeholders and promote our mission.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, partners, and the public.
- Manage and maintain our brand-new website, ensuring it is up-to-date and effective in communicating our message.
- Design and implement a range of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and social media content.
- Develop and deliver training and support to our staff and volunteers on communications and engagement best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in communications and engagement, preferably in a non-profit or charity sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality content.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their use in communications and engagement.
