Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dining Service Staff to join our team at Itihaas Indian Restaurant. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, maintaining a welcoming environment, and ensuring our guests have a remarkable dining experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with our service standards.
  • Provide knowledgeable and proactive service to all guests.
  • Ensure tables are clean, well-organized, and set up for service.
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Assist with the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant.
  • Process transactions and handle cash and credit card payments accurately.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items, including seasonal or special offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as dining service staff, with a minimum of 2 years in a restaurant setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Indian cuisine and beverages is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country.
  • Flexibility with work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
