About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Projects & Facilities Manager to join our team at Nicholas Clarke Associates Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating facilities maintenance, site services, and infrastructure across multiple manufacturing units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating facilities maintenance engineering activities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Leading a small team of facilities engineers to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Managing time keeping, attendance, skill records, training plans, and annual appraisals to ensure team members are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Responding to all breakdown incidents in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Identifying and managing project engineering activities to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Managing capital expenditures (CAPEX) to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensuring engineering work is carried out in line with legislation, technical compliance, and health and safety guidelines.
  • Liaising with various departments, including engineering, health and safety, quality, and production, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Involving in the recruitment and training of facilities engineering personnel to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
Requirements
  • Strong facilities maintenance engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Exposure to project engineering or management within a facilities context.
  • Suitably electrically or mechanically qualified to Level 3 or higher.
  • Highly organized, strong communication skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
