In partnership with law enforcement, you will provide essential healthcare services to individuals in custody. Our commitment is to ensure the wellbeing of detainees through continuous medical support in custody facilities, adhering to a schedule established with our partners.

  • Competitive salary of £40,000 annually
  • £1000 bonus upon completion of one year of service
  • Full-time roles feature a structured shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off, with day shifts from 06:45 to 19:00 and night shifts from 18:45 to 07:00, with a rolling rota available for two years ahead.
  • Part-time positions also follow a fixed shift structure: day shifts from 06:45 to 19:00 and night shifts from 18:45 to 07:00, with a team rota of 2 days on, 8 days off, 2 nights, and 4 days off.
  • Estimated average overtime earnings of £3500 per year
  • Registration fees for NMC/HCPC covered

Key Responsibilities

As a qualified nurse or paramedic, you will have the opportunity to work within the criminal justice system, assisting some of the most vulnerable members of society. Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN, RGN) or Registered Mental Nurse (RMN with dual registration) with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience at Band 5
  • Paramedic with at least 2 years post-qualification experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a patient-facing role within relevant fields such as General Practice, A&E, Emergency Medicine, acute medicine, Walk-in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Services
  • Valid Driving Licence
  • Eligibility to work in the UK, with residency requirements met
  • All candidates will undergo Police Vetting
