About the Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced IT Portfolio Manager to join our team at SPG Resourcing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of a diverse portfolio of IT projects, ensuring they are aligned with our company's strategic goals and deliver maximum value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain the IT Project Portfolio: Ensure alignment with our company's strategic objectives and business goals.
  • Oversee Prioritization, Initiation, and Execution of IT Projects: Allocate resources effectively and manage risks proactively.
  • Monitor Portfolio Performance: Provide regular updates and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Business Leaders: Ensure project delivery meets expectations in terms of scope, quality, time, and budget.
  • Facilitate Regular Portfolio Reviews: Assess project status, risks, dependencies, and financial performance.
  • Lead the Development and Implementation of Portfolio Management Processes: Tools and best practices across the organization.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulatory Requirements: Industry standards, and company policies.
  • Provide Guidance and Mentorship: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business Management, or a Related Field: A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) is a plus.
  • 7+ Years of Experience in IT Project Management: With a strong focus on portfolio management within the financial services industry.
  • Proven Experience in Managing Large, Complex IT Portfolios: With a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong Understanding of IT Governance, Risk Management, and Financial Management Principles:
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: With the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Portfolio Management Tools and Software: (e.g., Clarity PPM, Microsoft Project, JIRA).
  • Demonstrated Ability to Think Strategically: Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: With a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
