About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Philips as a Marketing Operations Manager, where you will play a key role in driving superior customer value by facilitating the market's annual planning processes, ensuring coordination of the marketing plans for the market across the Clusters and Businesses, and executing the marketing plans and BMC initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations Managers EU in planning marketing activities in UKI
  • Collaborate with local business specialists to understand customer needs and ensure representation in Europe and local plans
  • Provide input on local customers insights related to the selected campaigns
  • Define requirements for localization of content across all platforms
  • Support the localization of marketing assets based on local needs, e.g., case-study and proof-points creation, and ensure all relevant approvals obtained
  • Define local ad-hoc content creation requirements, brief with agency, and review of agency output
  • Assess quality of content and timing provided by European team, ensuring customer needs are prioritized and addressed
  • Drive and report on performance of content created for local needs
  • Upload and manage local content on Philips Asset Library
  • Manage local sales enablers, incl. availability on Seismic, localization and validation (e.g., local reference stories), and ensure training and delivery to local teams
  • Support digital activation brief development with local needs
  • Communicate local digital requirements/deviances needed to Digital CoE
  • Understand the local media landscape: negotiate, purchase, brief, and report on local zone-specific media and ensure full integration into audience plan
  • Integrate local events into audience plan together with Events Manager
  • Budget, PO management, and reporting
  • Management of zone association and society requirements and relationships. Collaboration with Marketing Operations Managers EU to ensure integration in ecosystems and measurement of impact

About You

  • Experience in marketing with a track record of delivery
  • Strong project management skills and communication skills
  • Proven skills in planning and coordinating marketing activities at local level
  • Ability to interact with sales and business marketing organization
  • Team builder and able to influence peers and internal stakeholders regardless of reporting lines
  • Digital first, data-driven mindset with strong experience in decision making
  • Comfortable and able to thrive with ambiguity while managing critical stakeholders
  • Strong operational and execution focus, driven by customer intimacy
  • Ideally experience and knowledge of the local Health Systems industry
  • Acts as a role-model for our Philips behaviors: Customers first; Patient Safety, Quality, and integrity always; Team up to win; Take ownership to deliver fast; Eager to improve and inspire
  • Problem-solving skills. Supports continuous improvement via using LEAN methodology
