Position Overview

Are you skilled in engaging with young learners in a structured environment? Do you possess the ability to design and implement effective educational sessions aimed at enhancing students' understanding of various subjects?

Teaching Personnel is in search of passionate and dynamic Tutors across Rugby and nearby regions to provide individualized support to students. Many of our current roles involve assisting learners who are not enrolled in traditional schooling, which means that tutoring often occurs in home settings or within the local community.

Subject Areas and Age Groups

Tutors have the flexibility to focus on subjects where they hold specific expertise and teaching experience.

  • Key Stage 1-4, covering all primary and secondary age ranges
  • Primary subjects include literacy, mathematics, science, phonics, basic skills, and reading comprehension
  • Secondary subjects available for tutoring include English, Mathematics, Science, History, and Geography
Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum in your subject area to keep students engaged and focused, especially leading up to examinations.
  • Develop clear and effective lesson plans tailored to accommodate various learning abilities.
  • Exhibit professionalism and empathy to foster student success.
  • Document sessions and update student information on our online platform, LEAP.
  • Show enthusiasm for education and take pride in enhancing students' academic performance.
