Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Asset Appointments. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients across various sites in the UK. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and other authorized desktop applications.
  • Ensure all desktops interconnect with diverse systems, including file servers, email servers, applications servers, and administrative systems.
  • Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers, computer hardware, and other authorized peripheral equipment, and perform remedial repairs as needed.
  • Diagnose and quickly resolve a wide range of Windows applications and networking issues to minimize downtime and support business operations.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for queries, issues, and problems assigned, and maintain IT records and tracking for the area of responsibility.
  • Advise and support users in everyday use of computer equipment.
  • Develop a sound understanding of IT operations and related applications and systems.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of providing support to business users.
  • Relevant IT qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience gained in a similar IT Support role.
  • Experience of using MS and ITIL.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal, team working/building skills.
  • Flexible and willing to learn new technologies.
Benefits

Up to £34,000 PA (depending on experience) + Competitive Benefits. 37 hour week: (Mon-Thurs 8.00am – 4.30 pm, Friday 8.00am – 1.00 pm). 29 days holiday + bank holidays / Health care / Competitive pension / Life assurance / Onsite parking.
