About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at Undisclosed. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for our IT infrastructure
  • Respond to support requests from the team and provide a fix or advice
  • Support the Cyber Infrastructure Lead in providing new or enhanced capabilities
  • Support the VMWare Environment
  • Support of Cisco switches
  • Support of Dell Servers
  • Backup and recovery – Monitor existing solution and make improvements. Plan for 6 monthly restore tests.
  • Responsible for upgrading firmware and software where required.
  • Support a M365 E5 environment
Requirements
  • A solid technical understanding of supporting the Naval Infrastructure
  • A willingness to learn often complex technologies which support Naval.
  • Be willing to work under own initiative and make decisions based on the best practices.
  • Become responsible for the Naval UK infra and work with the major stakeholders to improve where required.
  • Achieve CE+ for the Naval area and work with MOD / BAE to keep approved status.
Desirable Qualifications
  • ITIL management process knowledge, experience and / or certification
  • Lean/Fast works/Agile Experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Lean initiatives
  • Microsoft Certificates in M365 technologies
