Position Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Client Relationship Manager. The Client Relationship Manager will play a crucial role in nurturing and enhancing relationships with current clients, discovering new clientele, negotiating terms with customers, and collaborating with internal teams to guarantee client satisfaction. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to comprehend and evaluate clients' financial requirements and offer tailored financial guidance.

  • Experience in the lending sector is advantageous
  • Proficiency in an additional language is beneficial

Core Responsibilities:


• Identify and onboard new accounts for Credit4Business within the independent African retail sector in the UK.


• Oversee existing accounts within the portfolio to ensure the health of the shops and deliver exceptional service levels to retailers, resulting in increased business share and growth opportunities.


• Consistently meet all monthly performance indicators, exploring innovative options within the established framework.


• Diligently fulfill and maintain required documentation (route plans, surveys, and audits).


• Promote and sell all Credit4Business products and services to ensure availability within independent retail outlets.


• Effectively gather and present market insights to secure a competitive edge in response to market changes.


• Maintain awareness of territory and account performance, addressing risks through gap analysis and retailer engagement.


• Cultivate strong business relationships with retail partners to maximize Credit4Business's market share.


• Remain attentive to service level issues and escalate them to the appropriate support teams for resolution.

Please note: This role requires full-time availability: 9am-6pm, 5 days a week. A valid UK Driving License is required.

Compensation: £30,000 per annum, plus on-target earnings. Suitable candidates will be provided with a company vehicle upon successful completion of probation and will receive a mileage allowance until then.
