About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our dynamic Paediatric Assessment Unit team at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and young people with a range of medical and surgical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in the supervision and teaching of untrained staff, promoting a culture of learning and development.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and supportive environment, promoting good communication and relationships between staff, patients, relatives, and visitors.
Person Specification
  • NMC registration as a Nurse.
  • Experience in an acute care setting, either as a nursing student or within the first year as a new entrant to the profession.
  • Standard keyboard skills and knowledge of IT packages such as Word, PAS, and E-rostering.
