About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our Universal Business Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of our operations from order to delivery, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to increase capacity, drive growth, and achieve business objectives.
  • Manage daily operations, including design, purchasing, scheduling, project management, and installations to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisations.
  • Lead and inspire a team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and metrics, developing action plans for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other functional leaders to ensure operations are aligned with overall business goals.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of success with at least 5 years of experience in an operations or general management role within a fast-paced, £15M+ construction-related project management business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • A deep understanding of business operations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in steel fabrication would be beneficial but not essential.
