Position: Fostering Social Worker

Location: Gloucestershire

Compensation: £35 per hour

Hoop Social Work is seeking to recruit a qualified Social Worker with expertise in fostering to become a vital part of the Fostering Support Team. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements and is compensated at a rate of £35 Umbrella per hour.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing guidance and oversight to foster carers to ensure they deliver high-quality care tailored to the needs of vulnerable children as outlined in their care plans.
  • Prioritizing safeguarding measures to ensure compliance with the National Minimum Standards for fostering.
  • Supervising a diverse range of fostering households and facilitating support groups.
  • Conducting annual reviews and managing a caseload while assisting in the placement of children.

Successful candidates will integrate into a dynamic and supportive team environment, with regular opportunities for reflective supervision and professional development.

Requirements:

  • A recognized Social Work Qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one
  • Three years of professional references
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle
