Hoop Social Work is seeking a dedicated agency Social Worker with a strong background in fostering to become a vital part of the Fostering Support Team. This role is designed for professionals looking to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable children through effective support and supervision of foster families.
The responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing guidance and oversight to foster carers to ensure high-quality care that aligns with the individual needs of children as outlined in their care plans.
- Prioritizing safeguarding measures to ensure compliance with National Minimum Standards for fostering.
- Managing a caseload and conducting annual reviews, while actively participating in the identification of suitable placements for children.
- Engaging in regular reflective supervision sessions, fostering professional development and skill enhancement.
Qualifications Required:
- A recognized Social Work Qualification.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- An Enhanced DBS check registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
- Three years of professional references.
