About the Role

The NHS is seeking a skilled CAMHS Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct assessments and provide individual and group therapy sessions to children and adolescents.
  • Work closely with families and carers to ensure comprehensive support and care.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of service policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in CAMHS, applying this knowledge to improve service delivery.
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who possesses the following skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in a field such as psychology, social work, or a related discipline.
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant area, such as CAMHS or child psychology.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
