As a SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational support to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), and other Additional Educational Needs.
About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher or experienced learning support professional to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable learners. As a SEN Tutor, you will work one-to-one with students, providing tailored support to help them overcome their challenges and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality educational support to students with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
- Provide regular progress updates and feedback to students, parents, and carers
- Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers, therapists, and support staff, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student support
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with students with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
- Experience of developing and implementing individualized learning plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
