About the Role

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to join our team at Bupa. As the chief fun officer, you will be responsible for creating a vibrant and joy-filled atmosphere for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging activity plans that cater to the diverse interests of our residents.
  • Collaborate with care teams to create tailored activity programs that promote social interaction, physical activity, and mental stimulation.
  • Organize and lead various activities, including arts and crafts, baking, book clubs, and pub quizzes.
  • Liaise with external companies and performers to arrange days out and events at the home.
  • Provide one-to-one support to residents, using reminiscence tools, puzzles, reading, or simply enjoying a cup of tea and a chat.
  • Support the home's social media channels as required.

Requirements

You will be a creative thinker with a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, care teams, and external partners.
