Activity Coordinator

We're seeking a creative and enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to join our team at Bupa. As the chief fun officer, you'll be responsible for creating a vibrant and joy-filled atmosphere for our residents.

Your role will involve dreaming up exciting events and hobbies that residents will love, such as arts and crafts, baking, book clubs, and pub quizzes. You'll work closely with our residents and care teams to create tailored activity plans that cater to their interests and needs.

As an Activity Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:

  • Running morning and afternoon activity sessions that promote social interaction and engagement.
  • Producing and updating an activity planner for the home, working to a set activities budget.
  • Organizing birthday surprises for our residents and creating a sense of community.
  • Liaising with external companies and performers from the local community to organize days out and events at the home.
  • Organizing one-to-one sessions with residents, using reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading, or simply enjoying a cup of tea and a chat.
  • Supporting the home with their social media channels as required.
