About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at HCA Healthcare UK. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services to our patients and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a high-quality clinical pharmacy service that meets the needs of patients and healthcare professionals within our hospital.
  • Support the implementation of medicine management systems concerned with Oncology and Acute Care services.
  • Act as a role model in the oncology pharmacy field and undertake clinical supervision of pharmacy staff and teaching of nursing and medical staff.
  • Be professionally accountable for any pharmacy function for which you assume responsibility.
Requirements
  • Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council, with a BPharm, MPharm or BSC in Pharmacy.
  • Additional postgraduate clinical qualification Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or other relevant post-graduation qualification.
  • Extensive hospital experience essential.
  • Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society is desirable.
  • Experience in a clinical specialist area (Oncology and Acute Medicine is highly desirable).
