About the Role

The Outpatient Clinical Lead Physiotherapist will be a key member of our multidisciplinary team, overseeing the delivery of exceptional care in collaboration with Orthopaedic and Surgical Consultants, GPs, and other healthcare professionals. We are seeking a highly skilled clinician with proven leadership experience to manage a dedicated therapies team and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor a team of therapists, fostering professional development and maintaining high standards of patient care.
  • Oversee the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of MSK and orthopaedic conditions, acting as a clinical expert and supporting complex clinical decision-making.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of outpatient services, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment management.
  • Lead service development initiatives, focusing on expanding MSK and orthopaedic offerings and driving innovation.
  • Deliver personalised, compassionate care with treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance initiatives, lead clinical audits, and participate in external inspections and accreditation processes.
Requirements
  • BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
  • Significant post-qualification experience, including leadership in an outpatient setting.
  • Advanced clinical skills in MSK and orthopaedics.
  • Proven ability to manage a team, lead service development projects, and ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
