About the Role

The Outpatient Clinical Lead Physiotherapist will be a key member of our multidisciplinary team, responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional patient care in our outpatient physiotherapy services. This role requires a highly skilled clinician with proven leadership experience to manage a dedicated therapies team and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of therapists, fostering professional development and maintaining high standards of patient care.
  • Clinical Expertise: Oversee the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions, acting as a clinical expert and supporting complex clinical decision-making.
  • Service Development: Lead service development initiatives, focusing on expanding musculoskeletal and orthopaedic offerings and driving innovation.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance initiatives, lead clinical audits, and participate in external inspections and accreditation processes.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
  • Experience: Significant post-qualification experience, including leadership in an outpatient setting.
  • Clinical Skills: Advanced clinical skills in musculoskeletal and orthopaedics.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage a team, lead service development projects, and ensure high-quality patient care.
