Job Summary:
The Clinical Lead Physiotherapist will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional care in our outpatient physiotherapy services. This role involves leading a team of therapists, managing service development, and driving quality improvement initiatives.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled clinician with proven leadership experience to manage a dedicated therapies team and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have advanced expertise in MSK and orthopaedic physiotherapy, with a strong ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in the assessment and implementation of effective pre and post-operative treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of therapists, fostering professional development and maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Oversee the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of MSK and orthopaedic conditions, acting as a clinical expert and supporting complex clinical decision-making.
- Ensure the smooth operation of outpatient services, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment management.
- Lead service development initiatives, focusing on expanding MSK and orthopaedic offerings and driving innovation.
- Deliver personalised, compassionate care with treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance initiatives, lead clinical audits, and participate in external inspections and accreditation processes.
Requirements:
- BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
- Significant post-qualification experience, including leadership in an outpatient setting.
- Advanced clinical skills in MSK and orthopaedics.
- Proven ability to manage a team, lead service development projects, and ensure high-quality patient care.
- Strong organisational, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
