About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to our residents. You will be responsible for supervising and inspiring a team of Care Assistants, working closely with the clinical team to support residents with their daily needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and motivate a team of Care Assistants to deliver high-quality care and support to residents.
  • Work closely with the clinical team to support residents with their daily needs, including medication management, assessments, care plans, and care reviews.
  • Contribute to creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment that promotes the dignity and preferences of our residents.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure that residents receive consistent and high-quality care.
About You

We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant who has a passion for delivering high-quality care and support to our residents. You will have a strong background in health and social care, with a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. You will also have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly and be able to demonstrate your skills and experience in a care setting.
