ROLE SUMMARY
As a Senior Care Assistant within a Barchester care facility, your primary responsibility will be to cater to the diverse needs of our residents, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, individualized care and support. You will oversee and motivate a team of dedicated Care Assistants, working closely with the Deputy General Manager. Additionally, you will assist the clinical team in specific areas such as medication management, assessments, care planning, or care evaluations. Like all team members, as a Senior Care Assistant, you will uphold the dignity and preferences of our residents while contributing to a warm, inviting, and dynamic environment.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for the Senior Care Assistant position, you should possess an NVQ Level 3 or an Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. We also require demonstrable knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We seek individuals who are kind-hearted, empathetic, and dedicated to providing personalized care and support to each resident. You will have opportunities for career advancement through continuous training, with pathways leading to roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing positions.
