Job Title: Community Midwife

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Community Midwife to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Community Midwife, you will be responsible for providing high-quality midwifery care to women and their families in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in partnership with women and their families to provide holistic, evidence-based care.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for mothers and babies in accordance with Trust policies and guidelines.
  • Develop skills through clinical practice and post-registration study in management of obstetric emergencies and complicated pregnancies.
  • Participate in audit and research to support excellence in midwifery care.
  • Act as a positive role model and work in partnership with other staff members to ensure high standards of care are met.

Requirements:

  • Registered Midwife with current NMC registration.
  • First degree in midwifery or equivalent experience.
  • Proven evidence of leadership in multiprofessional teams.
  • Experience in conducting audits and quality management.
  • IT skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
