We are seeking an experienced Midwife to join our Community Midwifery teams in South East England. This role involves delivering exceptional maternity care in various community settings, working closely with a dedicated team of Community Midwives.
This is an exciting time for our service, and we invite you to contribute to shaping services that support women's choice in place of birth. You should have completed a preceptorship programme and achieved Midwifery competencies such as cannulation, water birth, and suturing. Participation in an on-call system for community midwifery is required.
Each community team is supported by an experienced lead and works closely with stand-alone Birth Centers in the area, providing opportunities to gain experience in these environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality maternity care in community settings
- Work collaboratively with the Community Midwifery team to provide exceptional care
- Participate in on-call systems for community midwifery
- Contribute to shaping services that support women's choice in place of birth
- Develop and maintain midwifery competencies
