Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated midwife to join our community team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a midwife in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse patients and families, providing high-quality care and support in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a midwife to work in a community setting, providing care to women and their families in a variety of settings. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of mothers and babies, working in partnership with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in partnership with women and their families to provide holistic, evidence-based care
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of mothers and babies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in audit and research to support excellence in midwifery care
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care
Requirements
  • Registered Midwife with current NMC registration
  • First degree in midwifery or equivalent experience
  • Proven leadership skills and experience of working in multiprofessional teams
  • Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of standard setting and quality management
  • Experience of conducting audits and participating in research
