Midwife Specialist

At Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, we are committed to delivering exceptional maternity care. We are seeking a highly skilled Midwife Specialist to lead our breastfeeding team and ensure that our maternity unit maintains the highest standards of care.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement breastfeeding policies and guidelines to ensure high-quality care for mothers and babies.
- Work closely with the neonatal unit to provide targeted support and advice to mothers with babies at risk.
- Collaborate with the PRUH Infant Feeding Lead Specialist Midwife to achieve and maintain UNICEF baby-friendly accreditation standards.
- Registered Midwife with experience in providing midwifery care in all areas.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrable ability to meet Trust values.
