Senior HR Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Officer to join our team on a full-time, 6-month fixed term basis. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide generalist HR advice and support across the organisation, working closely with managers to address staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and maintain our in-house HR system.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, directly sourcing candidates, ensuring the hiring of the right candidates for approved vacancies, and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers, recruitment agencies, and candidates.
- Contribute to improving the onboarding and induction processes, designing and delivering training on recruitment, and producing necessary reports.
- Support organisational change and ensure smooth employee transitions through policies such as redundancy and TUPE transfers.
- Oversee and monitor the recruitment budget and expenditure.
- Manage employee relations and provide support on employee relations cases.
- Ensure compliance with employment law, referencing, and pre-employment checks.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Experience working within HR and/or recruitment.
- Experience and knowledge of using HR Systems.
- Experience of office administration.
- Working knowledge of employment legislation and its application.
- An understanding of employee relations casework issues.
- An awareness of diversity issues.
