HR Lead

This is a great opportunity to provide strategic direction and leadership of the HR function of this leading architecture practice. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies. In this role you will really have the chance to have your say and bring your ideas to the table.
This is a 12 month maternity cover contract to start ASAP. They offer flexible/hybrid working and have lovely, airy offices with canal views.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as the first point of contact for all HR related queries, providing timely and accurate guidance to employees at all levels.
- Create efficiencies within the function, identify opportunities for process improvements and new approaches
- Manage the HR budget
- Lead communication and consultation on employee engagement
- Develop and deliver HR strategies and initiatives
- Lead the development of our employer brand
- Design and deliver the recruitment strategy and process.
- Develop and implement performance review processes
- Develop and manage the onboarding process
- Develop training plans that address the development needs of employees across the practice
- Lead on reward, recognition and compensation strategies
- Develop and update HR Policies and Procedures
**Skills and Experience**
- 5+ years experience in similar roles, ideally within the architecture and design industry
- Experience managing people
- Accreditation from CIPD at either Associate or Chartered Mmeber level
- Strong knowledge of UK employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Sound working knowledge of all HR areas.
- Excellent communication skills
- Commercial awareness
**Salary**: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
